When should I invade?

All right. All right. This is Vambient back with your daily installment of the jungle series guides where we just go over season 16. Today I just want to talk about mainly how to stop invading. Invading is a little jungle trick that comes later on where you go into enemy jungle to steal camps and try to gather more resources, deny enemy jungler.

I don't think this is very needed. Season just resets, so players are all over the place right now. In season 16, invading has become less of a thing. Hopefully I can show why it's so kind of weird to invade and then why you're not really gaining advantages from it. So there are some caveats.

There are some in situations where you should invade. Going to be tryh harding this game as season just reset. So it is a fresh season. a lot of players you might recognize Tai Grisk just like these players who are always you know high elo everybody has been reset at this point to zero OP so there's going to be a lot of weird games but it's going to be very fun very very competitive games at the start of the season when everybody really needs to climb rank so be a lot of tryh harding but yeah as later on u midseasonish people are going to stop playing, burn out. So you're going to have maybe less competitive games there, but at the start of the season, this is where you really have to lock in.

Starting gains will be reset and players will have to try hard. So, just going to be doing the standard challenger pathing, which is just to secure dragon. So, we're going to make sure that we keep just path towards the bottom side and then try to keep dragons. I'm going to showcase. You almost never see me invade to take stuff because there's just not going to be window two.

A lot of the time you're going to have junglers just, you know, you can see this guy is, you know, over here right now and he's trying to he's here right now. He's going to be level three actually trying to invade me. We're trying to take away this camp. I think he maybe sitting here or maybe just giving it. Think he just put for the ward there.

He's going to be here completely fine with me. Going to just give it up and then we're going to go here. We don't really want this right now. We already double scuttled him. So seems like a really good game for us to be playing right now.

Let's just ping this off and then just take this right now and then just make them really sad. He got double scuttled. This is what really snowballs the game. And then I take the dragon around 1 minute 30. So I started around spawn and then I will just be taking it.

You know this pathing from a previous video. We'll just mainly keep priority in the lane and then tell them in 30 seconds we want to do this. Can push. Just going to let him know. You always want to let your team know to just start pushing.

Notice how I'm not making any invades. I'm not looking for any ganks. I'm not doing anything weird. I'm playing super standard, super by the book. If you guys know chess, this is like a chess opening.

You don't want to make any special deviations from the opening. You know, if you take the double scuttle, you always want to play for the double smite on first drag. So, this is why I'm just going to keep two charges of smite. By the time dragon spawns, I should be able to double smite it, I think, if nothing is wrong. So, if I can double smite drag, it increases the likelihood that I'm going to be able to brush it down.

Just cuz it will be that much faster. So they will have about maybe five, six, seven seconds to react to my doing drag. By that time, a lot of players will it'll already be gone. It'll already be mine. So, I'm going to start it right after this, actually.

But I'm going to be about I'm going to just ping for it. We just need vision first. I think team is already they know what I'm doing. But it is all good. Yeah, we're just going to start it out.

I like the moves from team. We're going to just hang them to back and then we will we have we will just have first dragon. This guy is just full dead. I'm going to just secure him. Make sure that no nothing can stop him.

He can't really stop us, so it's completely fine. We're just going to take a reset. Not really going to care about that too much. Again, don't waste time. Don't look for anything weird.

Definitely buy a pink if you have the gold for it. If you don't, no big deal. You're still going to be able to do everything you want. I'm going to hover top side here. Just because I don't really have alt, so I'm not going to really give him any resources, but we'll see what's going on.

or typically doesn't know. It doesn't need that much resource. But it's completely fine. I didn't have E in I had E in like one second. My bad.

No E. Oh, just w it out for him. Spot out Mr. I'm risk. Yeah, vehicle is there so it is all good.

I'm just going to I pinged my E earlier, but I should have back pinged him. It went a little bit early. It is what it is. It is not a big deal. But yeah, this is good.

So, we are set up. We're going to be full clearing down again. I'm just doing one more time. We got him a good reset. Generally, that was a waste of time to do.

He was completely fine just farming. I just want to show that Teemo, you know, hey, I'm going to be in the area. And then he knows my pathing. But just want to make sure he doesn't overaggress onto my Warwick and then just leave real quick as soon as possible since, if you're doing this strategy. One thing is you're going to see me full clear again, not care about anything, full clear again, and then go into the void grubs contest.

It's all right if VGO wants to skip camps. He is matching me in terms of camp speed. So, he's going to be maybe around here, maybe around there. So right now the only X factor is their mid laner. It can't be anybody else.

I'm seeing everybody on the map right now. So we're just going to be going directly down into the camps down here. And then we will be creating tunnels so that we can fast travel back up top if needed. So I think this guy is here right now. I'm just going to ping it out.

They might be fishing bot. We're not going to be looking bot. We're going to be looking here. And then we're going to be going straight over here. Here.

Here I'm going to try to cement my onele lead here. I'm going to just go here because I don't want to contest top side right now. I want to just go invade directly. So this is a situation where you see enemy jungler starting the camp. He is directly risking his side of the map.

So he is going to lose even more from this. I already got the dragon earlier. I'm chilling being chilling. Don't really want to worry about anything here. I know that I had a timer on his camps here.

So, I'm completely open to just taking his camps for free and then pressuring bot for the dive later on. So, we're going to just look for the dive now. I think Sho is going to be dead here, so I'm going to be killing him for prey. Never mind. I think we're dealing with the clown first.

It is intended honestly. Not even coping. I just wanted to make sure the dive was okay because he started tanking a little bit early. So then I needed to get there to but yeah, you notice my wards and everything. I will never almost never swap off of yellow trinket.

I think making sure that I have the yellow trinket for extra vision against VGO is highly important. You can also see that I'm not wasting any time with the invade. I saw that his camp wasn't up. I'm not checking further. Not wasting any time.

Do not invade further. So, I see new players all the time. They mess around enemy jungle. They waste a lot of time. I want to make sure that I'm still on time for my next camp so I can contest the dragon right after.

We take this for free, by the way. So, essentially, you're grabbing every resource on the map, making sure your team is as strong as possible. I don't like this. It's fine though. It's fine.

If he's dead to rights, it's fine. completely okay. That is allowed. I don't really care about this. We are just going to take it.

I'm just going to pick my team to come. They should be coming for me. Got it. So it is mine. I'm going to go check out mid.

See what's going on here. VGO getting choked out as normal. It's all good. We're just going to hang around some little bit and then just w out for him. He should be all good.

He's trolling. That is not even a good play by me. It's just actually he's trolling. This guy's trolling, too. Okay.

Why is he trying to play on my screen? kind of weird by the way. Yeah, so they don't deserve to play on my screen at this time because they're really behind. So like we farmed really well. They should not be doing that.

So just I mean slap them if they're giving you free kills, but honestly I don't say my bad to everything. My bad. just to ease the situation. It is your fault that he is dying or he is suffering. He is building [ __ ] AP Warwick.

By the way, so even if it's not your fault, it is your fault. You have to say my bad. Remember this. Remember this. If you're playing the style, it is your fault if your teammates are losing.

Even though you know it's really not, but I'm just saying you have to say my bad because you're not coming to save him. If he is making mistakes, you're not coming. So, essentially, what normally happens in lower elos is just you die with them or you want to like, you know, you want to come mess with him and then you both die together and then you flame each other and then you know, one side gets even more angry. You want to just diffuse the situation and then you just say my bad. To everything.

It doesn't matter if it actually is or not. You already know, you understand how it is, right? If you ever you know have a girlfriend or anything, you have to do these things, right? I say, you know what I mean? So, anyway, I didn't say that.

Right now, again, we're just playing full clear style and then just making sure to grab all the resources possible, level up at the same pace as the other players on the map. If you're not doing clearing of the jungle, you will be not able to level up. You're only going to invade after all the camps are down and Okay, this is just not I mean, he's stag ship. You're only going to invade after all the camps are down and you're strong enough. Okay, now we can't invade because he is tping top for some reason.

That is a bad play. Anyway, we'll just clear the wave here real quick. I'm going to just clear the wave and then once I disappear, I'm going to stop his back. Just like that. And then we'll see what happens.

It's all good. >> I stopped his back. So, I'm going to just continue. And then he is going to go back top. I said earlier diving top is a bad play or tping top is a bad play.

As you can see, this is why. Because he is going to die to cuz I'm for sure not there. So then that's why it's bad. So they can free play onto him then he can't really fight back. But yeah, that's why essentially he should not be basically trying to do that.

I'm just going to back out here and then just take a free blue. And then we're going to just back in time for our camps to respawn. As you can see, I'm always keeping track. Just pressing tab real quick. I'm not really looking around the map.

I'm just looking at the mini map and then I'm going to be looking at top camp. Just keep the top camps open. And then looking to quick buy. You can also right click to quick buy these days. It's really nice.

And then go to your camp. You go all the way down. Jungle all these camps down and then take the dragon. You don't care about anything else. You backping your team.

Hey, I'm going to be taking dragon here. No. In 30 seconds. Nope. Bad play.

bad play. Don't play around top. Don't do anything weird. They're choke them out. Like, make sure the enemy team comes to force dragon here because you don't want them to keep on messing around.

You know, playing for kills, chasing kills, doing weird things. You want to force them, choke them out, come to dragon or else, right? You want to threaten them. You want to be like, "Hey, you know, I got checkmate here. Just Okay, I don't know why he's doing that.

It's fine. We're going to still play for dragon here. I'm going to play to set up here. It's all good. Going to help him out a little bit here.

This guy Taii is hiding as a team somewhere. Oh no, he's here. Have to kill him real quick. He is dead as well. Everyone is falling.

We're just going to farm the entire map here. If he got hit, he's dead. Very well played. Dies. This is what you force the enemy team to do.

You need to force them in a situation where they get cleaned up or lose soul point. It is what you have to do every single game. You cannot mess around top. If you mess around top, you lose too much tempo. you're going to lose the game.

I don't like what he's doing. Don't charge at him, man. Don't He has flash, man. Okay, it's what? Oh my god.

We're just you know, we think back already. We're not going to follow that. You know, for obvious reasons. If he flames me or does anything, we're just going to say my bad. You know, hey man, my bad.

You know, if you died, it's my bad. might be needed to reset. Yeah, just explain, you know, just try to diffuse the situation. Hopefully, he doesn't go AFK on us. But yeah, it's all good.

He is rage quitting. He's really angry, you know. He's I need to request help. They're surrounding me right now. But yeah, if they're if they if my team was faster, then we could contest, but it's okay.

It's all good. I just don't want them to invade me. I don't want to be invaded. And then I don't want to invade them as well. So, want to keep it even.

Just keep it chill. Force them on third dragons and force them on soul. You're at your strongest. Midame as a jungler these days. You cannot play that well in endgame fights because you do fall off against like solo lane top lane exp or even mid lane exp.

It's pretty rough for you to compete. And once enchanters get their item spikes, it's really hard. So, as you can see, I'm invading after I get everything. So, Oh, wait. This guy is he's trying to play on my screen.

Okay. I don't know why he's doing that. I guess he's not afraid of death. It's fine. I did the same thing to him earlier.

I think he forgot. But it's okay. You know, memory is a tough thing. So just play for your team here. All the camps are down, so I don't really need to back.

I can really dive. I can do some weird things here. You know, don't dive or anything. I'm going to just watch as he baits. Sitting in fog, just kind of chilling.

want to chill. Just want to chill. Just want to relax. We're just going to relax here. We're going to just chill.

We're going to relax. I'm going to wait for them to come into us. If they don't come, they lose blue. Similar to dragons. If they don't want to come, they will lose their game.

So, it's up to them really. Do they want to come or do they want to lose their stuff? You want to set up completely and control the area first and then you want to be in time for your stuff here. But yeah, the game's going to look really weird soon because it's going to be such an early dragon. It's going to be 22minute soul point fight.

We're going to be looking to have three items at soul point. And we're going to be at our strongest. Then we're going to end the game. So, they're going to either FF. I don't know what I don't know why he's not just coming.

Okay. We're going to give up this. I'm just not I don't understand. It's fine. Usually you're going to have top laners that do this.

Cuz they're, you know, angry at not getting to play. Just ward and then they can't do it. I already took their camps earlier. It is all good. As long as we have vision on as long as we have vision, it's fine.

Okay. Anyway, but yeah, you can see that I'm not making any crazy invade moves. I'm controlling the game completely. I don't want the enemy team to do anything that I don't want them to do. So, I want this game to be completely over.

They get nothing. I want to completely win. I don't want to flip anything. I don't want to do anything that's, you know, not around objective. Mainly just dragon.

You see me giving all Rift Herald, all void grubs is theirs. That's okay. But all the dragons, they are mine. And what's more important, it is dragon. We needed we need a team here earlier.

He's just going to get eaten real quick. Fine. He's going to get eaten as well. Real quick and then we'll get the dragon. I'll give him an emote real quick.

Tai used everything. He's trying very hard, honestly. It's it is not his fault that this game is going to go the way it is. So we do like Soul. We love Soul.

Warwick is griefing. So, Taiigi made Warick completely grief this game. Completely ran it down. He's like, "Wait, I don't want to play anymore." You know, they're angry. They're upset.

Very emotional to die. So, now we have soul. What are they going to do? I think going to chill a little bit. I'm just going to take the stuff and then leave.

I just I mainly want this herald dead. Just cuz I Yeah. Get some exp from it. It's good. No, no, no.

If your camps are coming up, you just want to do camps. You don't want to do any weird plays. I hate this Warwick, man. He's so bad, man. It's fine.

It's very frustrating when he just continuously makes the wrong plays, makes the wrong calls, baits us into weird fights we don't want to do. I hate him. Please. Oh my god. He This is all Warick's fault, man.

All his fault. He is so bad. It's okay. You know what? This is a good lesson.

Just ping them back and then go elsewhere. Ping them back, please. Please, guys. Guys. Play for elder.

Guys, team. Okay, so make very important to ping the medic. When you're like this, you have to make sure you control your team. They will intest possibility. You are ahead.

They are not usually. So, you have to make sure that you control the game. Stop, man. Okay. Okay.

I don't know what this is. I feel like everyone's just really like thirsty all the time. They're really like they don't know what to do. It's [ __ ] Vietnam. Not that serious.

We're just going to chill. This is a very common situation to be in. Now that we have the timer on this camp, we look for the invade together with the team. So here, obviously, I can invade. I'm probably strong enough, right?

But I'm not going to. You want to only invade with the team with correct timers up and together. So you want to invade together. You want to make sure that you know, hey, I'm going to one-shot you. I'm going to go in.

What? What's happening, man? He's so bad. Okay, it's fine. You you're going to have all the time you're going to have people like this and now we're going to reset.

It's fine. First game I have to remember I'm playing with really low right now. That that is probably the issue. I think it's just you know you might recognize some people but majority of people they're going to be not you know not high rank. So it's just it is a little bit frustrating for me.

As you know, challengers play with you know, lower ranked players sometimes. I should support Shico on my screen. Like, it's very non-competitive you know, situations play in for me. Okay, though. Going to back off.

Reset, please. Reset. Please reset, man. because every time they give over kills and like do something for fun, the game stalls out for like another two minutes. And then or a couple minutes for me and then I have to like, you know, re just wait as Rek'Sai.

I don't really scale that well. So even though I get full build and everything max level, it's going to be harder for me to kill everybody and especially if my team is giving over their shutdowns or doing anything weird. It's going to be a little bit difficult, but I just want to make sure that we're going to still play well. We're going to still play on objective. We're going to set up properly.

We're basically going to camp out Elder and then play with Elder. So, just making sure that people know this is how you play. This is how you work through a game. >> we have an early elder dragon here that we really want to keep. So, we're going to just take over the entire game here.

I don't trust them to pilot their champions correctly. Based on what I'm seeing, I'm right not to trust them. All right, let's say 47 Warwick trying to make the call to end. 44 Aurora trying to make the call to end. I don't want these guys to have any say in this game.

I want to make sure that my team doesn't throw that hard. They will throw. I want to make sure that we get this win in. This is early season by the way. So thanks for watching guys.
