Sett Scaling: Grade C

CBad lateat full build, coordinated fights

No, not reliably. Sett falls off in coordinated late-game fights. Grade C, Bad late, in The Scaling Codex.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. Bruiser Sett scales okay into the late game, but struggles with target access, similar to other bruisers.

His numbers are not the problem

Grit keeps converting punishment into true damage, the health bar stays enormous, and anything in arm's reach is in genuine danger at full build.

The problem is the arms. Everything he does requires touching someone, and late formations are built specifically so that people like him never touch the people who matter.

Walking front to back is the failure

He eats every slow and knockback on the way and arrives with spent grit and no target. The pull needs enemies positioned carelessly, and the ultimate needs a body in hand.

The route is to stop commuting. When their engage enters his team, everything unlocks at zero travel.

The rule

Do not walk to their carry. Suplex whoever was rude enough to reach yours.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches.
