Tryndamere Scaling: Grade B
Reasonably well, with conditions. Tryndamere keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.
Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).
Verdict. Relegated mostly to split-push duty. Outscaled in 5v5 due to vulnerability to crowd control.
- Split-push value
The most expensive side lane to answer
Undying Rage means one defender usually dies and two defenders means his team plays the objective up a number. Full crit damage, a spin through walls, and five seconds of refusing to die make a tower threat the enemy never gets to ignore.
The grouped fight is a different champion
To reach a target he walks through every chain of crowd control saved for exactly him, and the ultimate delays his death without unlocking his feet.
It also breaks when the enemy can clear his wave and hold the map without sending kill pressure. A split pusher nobody has to answer is just a farmer.
The ultimate buys five seconds, not permission. Spend them on a tower or an exit.

How this grade was judged
The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
