Xayah Scaling: Grade B

BOkay lateat full build, coordinated fights

Reasonably well, with conditions. Xayah keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. Better late-game kit than Lucian. Feather mechanics provide reliable damage, and her E gives her disengage tools that Lucian lacks. Ultimate is decent for peeling back as well but not great for chasing.

Her damage arrives twice

The autos land, the feathers stay, and the recall drags a second wave of damage plus a root back through everyone standing in the lane she built. Divers who jump her are volunteering to stand in it, and an ultimate that goes untargetable through the decisive engage spell makes her one of the safest carries in the game to attack.

She converts enemy aggression into her best fights, which is a real identity even without top-tier range.

The chase is where it comes apart

Her feathers are behind her, the root threatens nothing ahead, and the ultimate that dodges engages does not close distance. Playing forward leaves most of her kit on the ground she walked away from.

The rule

Fight standing on your feathers. If you are chasing, your damage is lying on the ground behind you.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches.
