Yasuo Scaling: Grade B
Reasonably well, with conditions. Yasuo keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.
Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).
Verdict. Okay-ish late game. Target access remains an issue, but Windwall is pretty decent.
Windwall scales by itself
The more valuable projectiles become, the more one wall is worth, and late fights are full of ultimates, picks and marksman autos that all die against it. Deleting their best projectile at an objective can be worth more than a carry's whole damage line.
The crit scaling is real too. At full build, reaching a target usually removes it.
Reaching it is the entire question
His ultimate needs a knockup somebody has to author, and dashing through a grouped team without one means eating every point-and-click answer they saved. A Yasuo forced to be his own engage is spending a carry's build on a coin flip.
Spend Windwall on their best projectile, and enter only after the knockup already exists.

How this grade was judged
The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
