What this means

From the video: Vambient's breakdown, lightly cleaned from speech

So, Anivia, moving on. I would put this champion in B tier. It's our first B tier champion.

I think the play rate is around 3%. Pick rate is about 3%. I mean, and then the ban rate is very low as well.

We're seeing five challengers and 10 GM players. In my experience, an mains are pretty solid. So, they are quite they're quite good at the game, honestly.

Okay, like Anivia is pretty difficult champion to play. You need to combo your your Q and the wall. And you have to learn really solid League of Legends in order to pull it off because you're not going to be able to get out easy.

So, it's a very like honest champion. It's like if you make a positioning error, you are dead. And yes, you can be saved by egg, but your your passive which revives you after a few moments, but if you waste that, then you are still going to die.

So, it is a champion that you can learn the game on. Is very basic champion. Is also pretty difficult to play.

So, you're going to have mechanics as well. You're going to learn how to wave clear for your team. You're going to learn very, you know, solid things.

No matter if you're playing top side, top top lane Anivia or mid lane Anivia, you're going to be fine to learn the game on.

How this was measured

Two numbers, one division. First, how many players are currently in Challenger or Grandmaster maining this champion in Korea, Europe West and North America, from onetricks.gg. Second, how many ranked games the entire playerbase plays of this champion worldwide across every rank, from op.gg. The result is high elo mains per 100,000 games played, then reduced by the champion's ban rate, because a champion you cannot pick is a champion you cannot main.

This is not a win rate list and it is not a patch strength list. It measures availability-adjusted high-elo main density: how much Challenger and Grandmaster main representation a champion has relative to how often it is played. It is not the probability that maining this champion will get you to high elo. The score counts Challenger and Grandmaster mains only, drawn from a tracked pool that starts at Master; it does not include the Chinese server, and it counts accounts rather than people, so one dedicated player with several high elo accounts shows up more than once. Patch 16.15. The full plain English explanation, including everything this list cannot tell you, is on the main list page.

The rule

Popularity is not the signal. What matters here is how densely high elo mains appear relative to how often the champion is played.
