Pantheon Scaling: Grade C

CBad lateat full build, coordinated fights

No, not reliably. Pantheon falls off in coordinated late-game fights. Grade C, Bad late, in The Scaling Codex.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. He loses impact later on as an engage champion, and his global ultimate becomes less impactful as well.

Why Pantheon falls off

His identity is arriving with force before the enemy is ready, and the late game removes both halves of that. The point-and-click stun still stuns one person for a moment, and one moment of one stun from a melee body does not decide a fight between full builds.

Grand Skyfall decays the same way. Early, dropping into a two versus two tilts the game. Late, everyone is already grouped at the same objective, his landing is announced for seconds, and being one extra body somewhere is not special when all ten players are in the same place.

He keeps value as a converter, not a starter

The stun is real peel on a diver, Aegis Assault can eat a key channel, and the ultimate still turns a pick into a kill across the map.

The rule

Land on a fight that is already won. Five people watching your crash zone is an announcement, not an engage.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches.
