Rumble Scaling: Grade C
No, not reliably. Rumble falls off in coordinated late-game fights. Grade C, Bad late, in The Scaling Codex. The placement moves with the patch.
Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).
Verdict. Riot has said the current nerf preserves his scaling pattern, and Equalizer still provides important objective-fight zoning. Even so, very weak late data and heavy reliance on one major ultimate keep him out of B.
- Patch-dependent
One spell still operates at late-game scale
A well-placed Equalizer over an objective fight splits the map into ground the enemy can stand on and ground they cannot, and no amount of gold makes standing in it acceptable. That is real zoning at the fights that decide games.
Everything else is short-range harass
His flamethrower range means standing next to people who kill him for it, and the results agree that the numbers behind this page are poor.
When you are one cooldown plus a body that cannot afford to be near the fight, the grade follows the body.
You get one wall of fire per fight. Know where it goes before the fight exists.

How this grade was judged
The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
