He participates without spending his body
The poke reaches into the standoff before the fight exists, and the researched true damage means even their tank line loses real health for standing in a choke. A team sieging behind him starts most fights ahead.

Full-build mobility sidesteps geometry, a spread fight scatters his lines, and one diver reaching him mid-channel converts his biggest cooldown into a death animation. He is only as good late as his hands and his spacing.
