Yuumi Scaling: Grade A
Yes. Yuumi scales well into the late game. Grade A, Great late, in The Scaling Codex.
Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).
Verdict. Better than first impressions. Needs a hyper-carry partner and can reach S-tier with the right carry to attach to.
- Team utility
Why Yuumi gets an A
Attached, she is untargetable, so the enemy cannot spend a single point of damage on removing her contribution. Every fight, her heals, buffs and empowerment arrive at full value while every other support is dodging skillshots to deliver theirs.
The late game concentrates power into one carry anyway. She is the formal version of that, converting her whole champion into extra stats for the player whose damage decides the fight, and her ultimate adds root threat across the space in front of them.
She scales exactly as hard as her host
Attached to a team with no true late-game carry, she is a passenger. She also inherits her carry's mistakes: if he gets caught, the untargetable cat is suddenly a very targetable one in the wrong place.
Choose your carry like it is your build path, because it is.

How this grade was judged
The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
