Ziggs Scaling: Grade B
Reasonably well, with conditions. Ziggs keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.
Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).
Verdict. Long-range damage and objective-zone control let him participate without committing his body. The data prevents an A placement and the range prevents a C placement, so he holds B despite a hard late win-rate drop.
He charges admission to every objective
Bombs into the pit from a screen away, a minefield across the choke, and an ultimate from another zip code mean the enemy cannot start, contest or retreat without paying health. He does it without entering anyone's threat range, which is the safest job in the late game.
The results are the problem
The numbers say his late games get worse rather than better, and a grade has to respect its own data.
Trouble arrives when zone control has to become kill pressure. Full-build mobility sidesteps his geometry, hard engage crosses the minefield in one dash, and a Ziggs who cannot stop the dive is a siege engine being boarded.
Charge them to enter the pit, and never pay the toll yourself by standing inside anyone's reach.

How this grade was judged
The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
