Zyra Scaling: Grade B

BOkay lateat full build, coordinated fights

Reasonably well, with conditions. Zyra keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex. The placement moves with the patch.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. Zyra is like Karthus except with a bit more utility but less damage overall. Depending on patch this champion can move up or down one, currently sits at B in Season 16.

A Karthus-shaped problem with control attached

The raw area damage is smaller, but plants keep fighting in places she is not standing, the root starts picks from range, and the delayed ultimate knockup gives a grouped enemy team a knockup they have to move for. Utility that layers under a teammate's engage is worth more late than a little extra burn.

Seeding an objective choke before the fight makes their approach cost health and information before anyone commits.

She breaks the way immobile mages break

One dash reaching her ends her fight, and she has no button that disagrees. Her stock also moves with the patch, so the B is a current reading rather than a fixed property.

The rule

Plant the fight before it starts. The garden fights for free. You do not.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches.
