Kled Scaling: Grade B

BOkay lateat full build, coordinated fights

Reasonably well, with conditions. Kled keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. Game-changing team ultimate, but can be kited later on.

What scales

Chaaaaaarge is a cross-map ultimate that speeds up every teammate riding the wake while he builds a ramping shield on the way in. Late, that is exactly the button that starts objective fights on his team's terms.

The second life matters too. Losing Skaarl and remounting brings more effective health to an extended fight than his item page suggests, and a mid-fight remount can flip an exchange the enemy had already counted as won.

Everything after the arrival is the problem

Late-game teams are full of slows, knockbacks and range, and a dismounted Kled walking at a kiting carry is the melee problem in its purest form. The ultimate guarantees the entrance, not the target.

The rule

The charge is for your team, not for you. Aim it where five of you profit, because arriving alone just means dying with momentum.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches.
