Viego Scaling: Grade B

BOkay lateat full build, coordinated fights

Reasonably well, with conditions. Viego keeps real value at full build. Grade B, Okay late, in The Scaling Codex.

Reviewed for League of Legends Season 16 (2026).

Verdict. Needs to get snowballing. Somewhat conditional on the quality of enemy champions a little bit as well.

The first body changes everything

Once one appears, the fight stops belonging to the original ten champions. A possession gives him another health bar, another set of abilities, and another route into the next takedown.

That ceiling is borrowed from the enemy draft. Some bodies are perfect tools and some are barely a reset.

The possession is payment, not a plan

It is what he collects after his team creates the opening, not how he creates it. If he enters first and absorbs every cooldown, there may be a body eventually, but he will be the one providing it.

The rule

Play the first target with your team. The passive can take over once the game has actually paid you something.

How this grade was judged

The grade weighs range, target access, sustained and burst damage, crowd control, mobility, durability, healing and shielding, resets, cooldown structure, objective and formation control, split pressure, and how well the champion survives a long fight. Builds and forms that scale differently are graded separately. This is Vambient's gameplay evaluation of coordinated late-game fights, not a win-rate calculation. Full methodology.

Related champions

The grade measures one thing: how much a champion can influence a coordinated late-game objective fight once both teams reach full builds. It does not measure early strength, snowballing, or win rate. A weak late-game champion still wins by ending the game first, which is what the rest of the library teaches. How the grades are decided.
