Worst Late-Game Champions in League of Legends

These champions are graded D or F, which means a coordinated fight at full build goes badly for them. That is a narrower claim than it sounds, and it is worth saying plainly what it does not cover.

19 champions carry this marker. Graded by Vambient. How the grades are decided.

Worst late does not mean worst

Several champions on this page are excellent. They have a deadline. Pyke's ultimate prints gold, and gold stops buying anything once everyone is full build, which is what made him game-winning at twenty minutes and why he sits here at forty. If your champion is on this list the answer is rarely to drop them. It is to end the game inside the window where they are the stronger side.

What actually decays

Two patterns cover most of the tier. One is a champion whose threat requires contact, meeting a team that has spent the whole game buying ways to refuse contact. The other is a champion whose signature cooldown has an item-shaped answer, so the button still exists and stops deciding anything. Neither is repaired by more gold, which is why these grades do not move just because the game went well.
